Welcome to those of you joining me from Disney Donna Kay and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the 4th stop on our Magical Blogorail.
January Topic: Your Disney Side
I feel like I have a Disney side to just about everything in my life! So where to start?
At home, I'm really proud of my dining set. The thing I love about it is that the design is subtle and not-in-your-face-Disney. I'm actually surprised by how many people eat off my dining plates and don't even notice the Mickey.
I also have a few purses that I use for various purposes that make me feel close to the magic.
First is my Dooney & Bourke bag with the Mickey balloon design. I love that it's black and that the balloons provide the color. Again, most people don't even see the Mickey and think they're just balloons.
Next is my Harvey's seat belt bag with the Nightmare Before Christmas design. It's basically covered in bats but then the zipper handle has Jack's face on it and then there's the charm with Jack and Sally on it that glows in the dark. This isn't an everyday bag for me because it gets pretty heavy with the seat belt material once you start loading things in it.
Last is my favorite for when I visit the parks or have to go anywhere where I don't want to carry my bag. It's the Lesportsac crossbody bag with Mickey and Minnie. The material is awesome and cleans well if you spill anything on it. Very lightweight and durable. It's perfect for the parks because there's enough room for all my stuff, and then some.
At the Parks
I love, love, love wearing Minnie ear headbands. I feel so at home wearing them at the parks. I can not not wear ear headbands when I'm there. And my collection keeps growing!
My latest headband: Halloween design!
Christmas is a perfect time to show off my Disney side! Disney magic + Christmas magic = FUN. I have a fun collection of Disney ornaments that my mom has helped me grow over the years. So our 7.5 foot tree is LOADED is character. Here are some photos of the newest additions.
To top off the tree is Zero, who's pumpkin nose actually lights up! I took him off my Nightmare Before Christmas tree this year as the tree topper. If you want to see how I made my NBC tree, check out my post here.
I could go on and on about my Disney side, so that'll have to do for now! How do you show your Disney side? I, and the rest of the Magical Blogorail, would love to know!
